Service Saturday at Mary Jo's!
JP, Jennifer, Joe, Crystal, Mary Jo and Anita all smiles after a job well done!
This fall season, our Service Saturday took us to the south west side of Columbus to the home of Mary Jo. Mary Jo wanted us to paint her room and ceiling. The room was about 10x12 and we had to move some furniture inside the room to the living room. Her desired colors were gold (for the walls) and white (for the ceiling). This request was due to the fact that she has not had the opportunity to have her walls painted in the past 27 years. Mary Jo was pleased with our Service Project. We made sure we painted her walls and made it as beautiful as possible. We cleaned up also the mess we made and made sure that the wooden floors were clear of wet or dried up paint stains. My sincerest thanks to Anita, Crystal, Jennifer and Joe for offering their precious Saturday morning till early afternoon at Mary Jo's place. People like them makes this world a better place to live in and makes you believe in the meaning of Community Service. Great job to all of us for doing such a wonderful paint job! I salute all of you!
