Prayer Intentions
I would like to invite the group to offer prayers for the victims of the school shooting in Chandron, OH and most especially for the conversion of the shooter. Pray that his soul will be comforted and that God's mercy and love will envelope him.
Also, please pray for the families and people that were affected by natural disasters that went through the Mid West and South East portions of the US. May their personal struggles and crises be offered to God and may they find the Prophet Job a good example and role model of how to deal with misfortunes in life.
Lastly, we would like to offer our prayers to the people of Syria and other countries that are having civil unrest, may God come to their assistance and help them rebuild their country according to His Master plan. May those citizens listen to God's voice and calling to conversion. May God continue to bless and guide the government leaders of the world to do what is right and just.
We also should pray for an increase in laborers of God's kingdom. For priests, religous, active lay ministers and an increase of God's personal call for us to conversion and to a more active Christian life. For Bryan O'Donnell who is currently in a Franciscan formation to be either a brother or a priest. For Mary Hodgson who is studying and undergoing formation to be a Third Order Carmelite. For all those in our group that are still waiting for God's call to be laborers in His kingdom on earth. For those who are looking for a relationship filled with love, peace and friendship with their future husband or wife that God's plan may be infused into their marriage. For those who are called to be committed to God's call in active lay ministry to continue building God's kingdom through other means, like their professional life, through their community service and through their personal relationship with God.
We also should offer prayers for those who are undergoing personal struggles either at work, with their family members, with their friends or loved ones; who have illnesses or undergoing treatment for the diseases they have; who need our prayers because they feel that they need it or are in need of God's love and relationship. We also should offer prayers of thanksgiving for those who are celebrating their birthdays, anniversaries with their weddings or relationships, for personal successes, and even for the fact that they have overcome some type of fears, anxiety and/or personal struggles! Let us not forget to Thank the Lord too in our prayers.
If you have any prayer request that you would like the whole group to see and include in their prayers, please mention it when you submit a prayer request.
