In 2014, the group had two official scheduled pilgrimage and one other scheduled out of the ordinary type of pilgrimages. The first official scheduled pilgrimage was to the Diocese of Youngstown. The group visited the following pilgrim sites:
Youngstown, St. Columba Cathedral (Mother Church of the Diocese of Youngstown, OH)
Youngstown, Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Catholic Church (A Ukrainian traditional Eastern Rite Orthodox Church in union with the Catholic Church)
Canton, Rhoda Wise Home (Rhoda Wise was a stigmatist and visionary of Our Lord in the 1930s-1940s)
Canton, Basilica of St. John the Baptist (the 2nd Basilica in the State of Ohio)
Last October 2014, Fr. Mike Lumpe requested a pilgrimage for the clustered parishes of Holy Cross Parish and of St. Joseph Cathedral to have a pilgrimage to the National Shrine and Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, OH. The group in 2010 visited this place before also as a pilgrimage and it was nice to be part of this parish-wide pilgrimage to the shrine.
Earlier this year, in February 2014, during the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter, while the majority of the group were at a Women's Retreat, some of the group members (mostly men) spontaneously took a pilgrimage to celebrate the Feast to the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption in Marietta, OH under the Diocese of Steubenville, OH. This was the latest Basilica in the State of Ohio, promulgated only late last year.
Each of he pilgrimage had indulgences for the pilgrims as long as they met the necessary things within the timeframe of their visitation.
All photos of each of the pilgrimage sites are in this page.
